Nose: Coastal bonfire, salty embers, flamed orange zest.
Palate: Rich, warming peat smoke and soft, aromatic spices with wafts of cinnamon and anise balanced by sweet salinity.
Finish: Ash and charred wood bring more smoky spice, following a touch of zesty citrus, and salted caramel.
NATURAL IN COLOUR AND NON-CHILL-FILTERED
Peat features heavily in our distilling history - records show that The Glenturret dug peat from the moss at our water source for whisky production in the early 1800s. Today we produce a small amount of peated spirit alongside our non-peated spirit from the same small stills. The Glenturret 10Years Old Peat Smoked brings together the two-spirit styles of the distillery, matured in both first fill and second fill European and American oak casks. The resulting complex whisky commands a higher strength of 50% ABV.
格蘭陀崙特 Glenturret
位於蘇格蘭turrent河畔的Glenturrent 陀崙特酒廠，自1775即開始了威士忌的釀造，歷經兩百多年歲月更迭，堅持以古老陀崙特釀造技藝工法。完全不受工業化與電腦化的影響而有絲毫改變，是現存最古老的蘇格蘭威士忌酒廠。
該酒廠最初被稱為"霍什"，最初是德拉蒙德家族所有。" Hosh"來自蓋爾語" cois"，意為腳。[它由約翰·麥卡勒姆（John McCallum）在1845年接管，直到1875年托馬斯·斯圖爾特（Thomas Stewart）接管並在百年紀念年將其更名為Glenturret。第一次世界大戰結束了釀酒廠的關閉，但戰爭結束後，它在米切爾兄弟（Mitchell Brothers）的領導下重新開放，直到1921年，美國的大蕭條和禁令使酒廠再次關閉。在此期間，建築物由Ochtertyre的Murrays保管。直到1957年詹姆斯·費爾利（James Fairlie）對其進行了振興之後，它才重新投入生產。
